It is not a data that can be generalized, each home has different characteristics and needs, such as the square meters of the house, the consumption habits or the appliances used. It is essential to choose the amount of kW sufficient to connect several appliances at the same time but without being too much above the total consumption and not to increase your bill.

The MIW+ platform, free of charge for our customers, will advise you on your optimal power, and if you are not a customer, you can contact us to study your case and optimize your contracted power.

The main difference between peak, flat and off-peak hours is the different electricity prices in each of them.

We tell you more:

  • Rush hour: It takes place only from Monday to Friday between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm and from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. This is the period when the price of electricity is the most expensive.
  • Flat Hour: Takes place from Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 10:00 am, from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm and from 10:00 pm to 00:00 am. Recommended time to save on your electricity bill.
  • Valley hour: It includes the hours from 00:00 to 08:00 from Monday to Friday, weekend days (Saturdays and Sundays) and national holidays throughout the day, uninterrupted. We are talking about the time when the price of electricity is the lowest.

In a very visual way you have this information at the top of the page in the section "Get to know the tariff periods".

It is understood to be a registration of electricity when we need to register the electricity in a house or premises (if it already has electricity, it is only considered as a change of company). The supplier will manage the registration, although it will be the distributor of the area that will carry it out and charge the expenses.

The price depends on the power to be contracted, differing in the following concepts per contracted kW + VAT:

  • Access rights: 19'70€/kW + VAT.
  • Hook-up fee: 9'04€ + VAT.
  • Extension fees: 17'37€/kW + VAT (only for supply points that have been disconnected for more than 3 years).

No, we will manage your change of company telematically. You won't have to worry about anything.
