This weekend the Murcian neighborhood of Joven Futura has celebrated its I Chess Tournament on the occasion of the festivities promoted by the Joven Futura Neighborhood Association, an event in which we have been present supporting the initiatives of the neighborhood and where we have had the opportunity to publicize one of the European projects in which we are involved, the DRIMPAC Project, in which 55 families living in the neighborhood participate as volunteers of the Murcian pilot.
The activity attracted more than one hundred families not only from the neighborhood but from the entire region. The attendees were informed of the objectives of the DRIMPAC project, which aims to encourage the participation of consumers in demand-side management programs, turning them into prosumers and active agents in the electricity market. In addition, we had the opportunity to show the tool developed for the management of the energy consumption of housing and the technology used in the pilot in some homes in the neighborhood and several companies in the region.
Many of the attendees already knew about the activities of the DRIMPAC project and some others, in fact, participated as volunteers in the pilot, which allowed to generate debate among the attendees about the usefulness of the project, showing curiosity in the project.
